Answers to Frequently Asked Questions About the Awards Banquet

Onsite Logistics

Q: What is the attire for the banquet?
A: The requested attire is Business.

 Q: What are the Covid-19 guidelines for the event?
A: Currently the Marriott Marquis is not requiring proof of vaccination or masks for guests. If guests are not vaccinated, masks are encouraged. For guests who want to wear a mask, they are welcome to do so. The Stevie Awards will have masks available at the registration desk outside the ballroom for anyone who may want one.

Q: Is there a discounted room block at the NY Marriott Marquis?
A: Yes, rooms have been reserved at a discounted rate at the Marriott Marquis through May 19, or until they sell out. You can make a reservation online here.

Q: Are tickets required for the banquet?
Yes, all attendees must have purchased tickets in advance for admittance. The final day for ticket sales is Friday, June 3, 2022.

Q: How will we receive our purchased tickets?
A: All tickets will be available for pickup at 5:00 pm the day of the event, at the ticketing desk in the Broadway Ballroom Foyer on the 6th Floor (setting for the awards banquet). Tickets will be held by organization name. Tickets will feature an assigned table number, and guests must sit at their assigned tables.

Q: What is the schedule for the evening of June 13?
A:

5:00 PM: Registration, Broadway Ballroom Foyer, 6th Floor
5:45 PM: Cocktails & Networking, Broadway Ballroom Foyer, 6th Floor
6:15 PM: Dinner, Broadway Ballroom, 6th Floor
7:00 PM: Awards Presentations,  Broadway Ballroom, 6th Floor

We expect the presentations to end at approximately 10:00 PM

Awards to Be Presented

Q: Which awards will be presented in New York on June 13?
A: All awards won by organizations in attendance - Grand, Gold, Silver, Bronze, and People’s Choice Stevie Awards - will be presented to them.

Q: Will Stevie winners who are not represented at the event be announced?
A: No. Only winners in attendance will be recognized at the event, however, all winners will be announced and published prior to the June 13 awards gala.

How Awards Will Be Presented

Q: How many times will our organization be called to the stage on June 13?
A: Each organization will be called to the stage once during the presentations to accept all of their awards.

Q: In what order will organizations be called to the stage?
A: Organizations will be called to the stage in the order in which tickets were purchased for the event.

Q: Who will present our awards to us on stage?
A: Cheryl Casone, host of television’s “American Dream Home” will present awards on stage to winners.

Q: Will we be able to make an acceptance speech after accepting our awards?
A: Yes. Each organization will have 30 seconds in which to make an acceptance speech.

Q: How may we ship our awards back to our offices from the hotel?
A: The Marriott has a FedEx Business Center onsite that can assist with shipping.

Live Broadcast

Q: Will the awards presentations be broadcasted online to watch remotely?
A: Yes, the presentations will be broadcast live, worldwide, via Livestream. The broadcast may be viewed here.

Photography and Videography

Q: Will there be still photographers at the June 13 event?
A: We will have two still photographers at the event. They will take candid photos during the pre-dinner reception and dinner. One photographer will photograph all on-stage awards presentations. The other photographer will work on the red carpet area all evening, photographing Stevie Award winners with their awards.

Q: When and how will photographs of the event be made available?
A: The following week after the June 13 banquet, all of the photographs will be freely available on the Stevie Awards' Flickr page. You may use the photographs however you'd like. When available you'll find a link to the photographs on this page.

Q: Will the awards presentations be videotaped?
A: We will have two videography units at the event. One videographer will record all on-stage awards presentations. The other videographer will work with an interviewer to interview all Stevie Award winners after they leave the stage.

Q: What questions will the interviewer ask our representatives?
A: Each winning organization represented at the event, after receiving their award(s) on stage, will be led directly from the stage to our video interview unit outside the event room, where they will be asked two questions:

      What does winning a Stevie Award mean for your organization?

      How will winning a Stevie Award help your organization?

 Please share these questions with your organization's representatives who will attend the event so that they are prepared to answer them.

 Q: When and how will video clips of the event be made available?
A: The video clips of the on-stage awards presentations will be published on the Stevie Awards' YouTube channel the week of June 20. When available you'll find a link to the clips on this page.

 If You Cannot Attend

Q: If our organization cannot attend the event to accept our awards, will there be a cost to receive our awards?
A: Yes. The following week after the June 13 banquet, we will send all winners information about their method of payment for shipping fees applied to their awards and how to specify where their awards should be shipped. Note: Awards will not be shipped until after the June 13 awards banquet. For details see the Terms & Conditions of Entry.
